As many of you know, we recently released our 1st MipeaceMusic Collection of Apparel! Praise God!!! Click the picture below to see our Collection!

With that in mind, I want to give you the meaning behind the first design that's on our apparel😀:

1) The Christian fish symbol - The fish symbol is based on a Greek acronym for the phrase Jesus Christ, God’s Son, Savior. In Greek, the phrase is Ίησοῦς Χριστός, Θεοῦ Υἱός, Σωτήρ . When we take the first letter from each word in that phrase, we have ΙΧΘΥΣ, which happens to be the Greek word for “fish” (ixthus or icthus).  

In addition, in Matthew 4:19, Jesus said to His disciples, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Also, there are several other Bible passages involving our Lord Jesus Christ and fish (Luke 5:4–7; John 21:4–6; Luke 24:42; John 21:13; Matthew 17:27; Matthew 14:15–21; 15:32–38).

Lastly, during the early days of Christianity, a fish painted or etched on the outside door of a house let other Christians know that they would be safe and welcome inside, away from deadly persecution.

2) The Musical notes - There are many places in the Bible that teach us to sing songs to praise & worship our Lord God as well as to use our songs about Christ in order to help others. Here is one of those passages:  

• Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

3) The Chess pieces - Chess is one of the best games of strategy in the world (it's my favorite board game as well😀).  Our Lord God has the ultimate & best plan & He's the Ultimate Strategist. No matter what our situations "look" like, in Christ, we already have the eternal victory - God already has eternal checkmate on the enemy (Hebrews 10:12-14; Isaiah 55:8-9; Romans 8:28…see the Bible passages below). 

In addition, chess uses the King piece, and we know from Scripture that Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord or Lords (Revelation 19:16…see the Bible passage below). Furthermore, God's Word teaches us that, in Christ, we are a “royal priesthood”. Thus, in our MipeaceMusic Collection design, we use both the King and Queen chess pieces to symbolize what God's Word teaches about us being a royal priesthood in Him (1Peter 2:9…see the Bible passage below). To God be the glory!

Scripture sources:  

• Hebrews 10:12-14 - “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.”

• Isaiah 55:8-9 - “'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,' says the Lord. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.'”

• Romans 8:28 - “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

• Revelation 19:16 - And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

• 1Peter 2:9 - But you are A CHOSEN PEOPLE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR GOD’S OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light

There is no time to waste.  Please let me know (or inform any other follower of Jesus who God leads you to) if you are ready to become a disciple of Christ. Be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son (Christ Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. After that, I strongly suggest that you faithfully pray that our Heavenly Father leads you to a congregation/local church that is truly following Him & His Word.

In Romans 3:23, the Word of God teaches us “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. I myself have been a chief of sinners and I lived in darkness (but, I thank You Heavenly Father for saving me, in Jesus' almighty name!!!).  The Word of God tells us in Romans 6:23a, “For the wages of sin is death…”.  The result of our sin would have been an eternity in hell without our Heavenly Father and without our Lord Jesus (read Matthew 7:21-23, Matthew 25:31-46, and 1Corinthians 6:9-11).  But, the good news is that our Heavenly Father gave us the greatest gift ever:  while we were sinners, He sent our perfect/holy Lord and Savior Christ Jesus to save us by dying on the cross for our sins and He was also resurrected on the third day with all power (read John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Luke 9:22, Matthew chapters 26, 27, & 28 as well as various places throughout the entire Bible)!!!  Jesus is the only way to salvation and heaven (John 14:6 and Acts 4:8-12).  Through Christ, we need to repent (repentance means to feel sorry for our sins and our sinful nature as well as change our minds so that we are no longer focused on doing worldly/sinful things, but we are now focused on obeying Jesus) and through Christ we have forgiveness for our sins (Matthew 4:17 and 1John 1:8-10)!  In Ephesians 2:8-9, the Word of God says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”  In addition, the Word of God teaches us in Romans 6:23b, “but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  

With all of those awesome Scripture passages in mind, we further understand that in order for us to receive salvation from Christ, we have to do what Romans 10:9 says:  “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”  We should have no shame in publicly following Jesus and publicly confessing Him as our Lord and Savior (read Mark 8:38).  After we do what Romans 10:9 says, then we need to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Mark 16:16 and Matthew 28:18-20), regularly fellowship with other followers of Christ (Hebrews 10:25…we should faithfully ask God to lead us to a Bible-believing and Christ-following church and join the congregation and keep in mind that all followers of Christ are a part of His entire Church/Body of Christ - 1Corinthians 12:12-27), be led by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14 and Galatians 5:16-23), and follow Jesus forever as we get ready for His return (Matthew 7:24-29, Matthew 24:32-51, and James 1:22-27).
